Day Five...staying alive!
The mid-week Wednesday hump is always a tough day to maneuver through. Its the last of the GMA events outside of the Dove awards, they last full day of contact with peers pre-press room. The day started off early with an artist symposium discussing Christian artists in a secular market. The discussion was interesting and enlightening on many levels. It was good to get the "heart of the artist" perspective on touring secular markets and maneuvering through secular interviews. It was a highlight of my week to see all the artists together.

Wednesday evening, without the plethora of showcases to choose from, I chose to attend the non-GMA Artist for Africa charity event hosted by Big Kenny from the country band Big and Rich. Also performing for this event was Jars of Clay, Third Day, and Ashley Cleveland. Because I know how much everyone loves set lists, here is the run down of the evening.
One more day closer to the Doves...closer to going home to my comfy bed...closer to the end of another GMA week. Have you composed your entry for the blog MP3 giveaway contest? Don't wait until the last minute! Don't forget that you may enter more than once.
