1. Radiohead In Rainbows
I love this CD. It has lived in my CD player almost permanently since I got it. I wasn't so sure at first, as it's a bit more mellow than the past ones, but it has grown on me especially lyrically. I think it's brilliant.
2. Stevie Wonder Fulfillingness First Finale
Ok. It's not from 2007. But for some reason it decided to be my sound track for the last half of the year. It's sexy, it's spiritual, it's smart, it's hooky, it's a sing-along, it's perfect.
3. Ratatouille What's Cooking
I worked on a promo for this movie all summer, so I heard this CD every day. Kid songs about cooking. It's not as irritating as you would think.
4. The National Boxer
This guy's voice makes me melt. It's not forced and is perfectly paced. It's gorgeous and impossible to stop listening to.
5. The Shins Wincing the Night Away
Who doesn't love The Shins? They make everyone happy.
Runners up: Feist The Reminder, Crowded House Time on Earth, The Myriad Prelude to Arrows, Peter Bjorn and John Writer's Block, mae Simplicity, Dizmas and Anberlin were the soundtrack to my morning jog, and I haven¹t gotten Spoon's GaGaGaGaGa, but I bet it would be in my top 5 if I did.
