Day one was an adventure in true JantRN fashion. I started the day with a "blue light" special. I did, however get to meet one of Friendswood, TX's finest. Made it to the airport and on da-plane without much else hindering the trip.

All and all were just another brick in the wall…
The Music Builds Tour has rolled across America laying the foundation & building awareness for Habit for Humanity. I joined the “tour” with a handful of my favorite people, the Third Day Gomers for what we dubbed the “Texas Trio.”
They say everything’s bigger in Texas. Not sure if that’s entirely true, but having seen the MBT in Nashville in April I can yesly tell you that Texas was a rocking set of shows.
Ever wonder what its like to travel with a rock band?
Me too. This fall I plan on hitting the road with the Music Builds Tour. No not "officially" like the embedded reporters with the military. But as a fan, experiencing the full fan experience from 4 (or more) rows back.

In a genre that tends to be slow to change, Jars of Clay has once again stretched, not only the sound of “Christian” music but themselves with their new song CLOSER available on iTunes.
